About me

Johanneke is an independent project coordinator, connector and consultant based between Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and an experienced professional in protection, humanitarian, migration and human rights issues.

Raised between different worlds and cultures, I always wanted to connect them and create understanding. Proficient in a number of Arabic dialects, French and English and having experience in project management, humanitarian assistance, gender mainstreaming, improving detention conditions and migration issues, I am now focusing more and more on sustainability and green projects. 

I have worked for the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross and different NGOs including my own. I am good at building bridges and trust between communities in order to lift them up. I can bring things together at a strategic level, see the bigger picture and make it happen with my organizational and project management skills.
